IQ Level 3 Certificate in Working as a Close Protection Operative within the PSI (QCF)

Our unique training program has been designed and developed by industry professionals and is specifically aimed at those wishing to embark upon a career in the world of Close Protection.

The course is conducted over a minimum 21 day period this is inclusive of 1 week home study prior to attending the course. (Our course exceeds the minimum of 140 guided learning hours) and successful completion will lead to a SIA Close Protection license. All course trainers come from both a military and civil background and are fully operational and highly experienced close protection operatives they have gained a wealth of experience in operational work in the Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, they have all worked on security assignments with celebrities, Foreign Royalty and diplomats

Entry Requirements

Although there are no formal entry requirements onto this program, students must be 18 years of age at the start of the program and be legally eligible to work and reside in the united kingdom all candidates are required to sit a numeracy and literacy exam prior to starting the course.

Our training program has been specifically designed to provide delegates with the knowledge, understanding and skills to be better able to provide close protection services within the dynamic and exciting world of the close protection.

Although the program adheres to the strict requirements of the Security Industry Authority it is delivered with a clear aim to provide delegates with the additional knowledge required to work within this unique sector.

Successful Completion of this program will lead to recognised nationally accredited qualification. This qualification will allow the successful candidate to work in the United Kingdom as a licensed Close Protection Officer, a legal requirement, many UK security companies operating abroad will only accept SIA licensed subjects
